The authors of Expanse: A TELLTALE SERIES have released a new video about the development of movement in zero gravity and much more

The Expanse: A Telltale Series, the coming original game in the Universe of The Expanse by Deck Nine and Telltale Games, received a new video revealing the backstage process. In Building the Belt, creators discuss the authenticity of their movement in zero gravity and how the environment will be closely related to the gameplay and relationships.

In today’s new trailer, not as much is told about the gameplay itself as in a trailer with developers’ comments released in February last year. But there are some grains of information and new glimpses of the gameplay.

The first half of the trailer is also deeply immersed in elements of zero gravity and teases some combat scenarios that fans should expect. There are quite a few tricks associated with shootings, and it’s funny to see how the developers had to adapt their process for such a unique situation.

All frames of exit into outer space look absolutely great, imitating the same sense of scale and admiration for space as in the original series. Business looks pretty convincing, because the characters and fragments float around.

Most importantly, there are some comments on how the environment will encourage players to study. The search for new areas and objects not only improves relations with the characters, but also opens key conversations, knowledge and solutions for narrative obstacles.

A new example shows how the opening of a cigar can lead to a unique cinema. In addition, the study of new areas can cause talk about them. This will increase the value of reproduction, as the players will return to attend new results or learn more about the team. And the omission of important answers to the problem can lead to disaster in the future.

Expanse output: A TELLTALE SERIES is scheduled for July 27, 2023. It will be available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
