The head of the CITIES: SkyLines 2 development studio promises to personally inform players about the progress of work on updates

CITIES: SkyLines 2 entered the market with performance problems that overshadowed the life of many Early PC users, but Colossal Order does not sit back.

The developers have already released a patch, but this is only the first of many, so the general director of the studio Marina Khallikainen decided to personally intervene in the situation.

In a message published today on the forum, she promised to write every week to inform the players about the progress and plans of the studio, as well as thank for support and call to continue to send reviews.

Hi all! I am Marina Hallikainen, CEO of Colossal Order. We are very happy about the incredible support that we received from the community for CITIES: SkyLines II. This gives us even more reason to continue working on the game and improve it in the future. Many players enjoy the game now, but we also perfectly understand that there are those who are faced with difficulties. We do our best to solve these problems as soon as possible. Please continue to send your reviews and messages about the problems that you have encountered, they are very valuable for our constant work, and we promise that we are considering everything that we send to us. For transparency, I will personally write weekly updates on our social channels, so if you wish, you can carefully monitor what the Colossal Order is currently working on, and what are our plans for the future. We are very grateful to the community and your exceptional support – many thanks from the entire Colossal Order team. We wish you a wonderful weekend, I hope, playing Cits: Skylines II!

Earlier today, the studio also announced the release of eight free regional sets with more than 2500 regional objects created by famous Modders of the community.

CITIES: SkyLines 2 is currently available only on a PC, and console players will have to wait quite a bit, since the exit of the game versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S was moved to the spring of 2024. On the other hand, this means that they will not affect current problems with performance, so the glass is half full.
